This is just too fun!

I just love the sound of sweet little birdies chirping outside my window ~

frogs and crickets, the whole nine yards, are a relaxing sound.

Now, after some time well spent with some beautiful blue candy melt,

I have some sweet chirping of my own ... from my kitchen :)

How cute are these ROBIN CAKE POPS ... almost too cute to eat!

Okay, I admit, I have already eaten one - for quality assurance purposes of course!

Spring has NOT sprung .. but it's trying really hard ...

 

SO, even though we like to pretend we are knee-deep in Spring, turns out we are just knee-deep in more snow! That's okay, because if it can't be Spring outside (although it is VERY near, I can feel it in my bones!) it can definately be Spring in my kitchen: WELCOME SPRING!!!

Tulip CAKE POPS are popping up everywhere! Aren't they just so stinkin' cute?!?! And oh, yes ... did you realize that Mother's Day is just around the corner? I didn't forget ... I look forward to that special day more than most!

 

I have not come across a single person that does not LOVE a cupcake ~ so what's not to love about one of

Piece of Cake's newest trials ... the MINI CUPCAKE!

I am sad (NOT REALLY) to say that these two cutesie trial cupcakes did not survive ...

We ate them up just as soon as the kids went to bed!

Don't feel too bad for my kiddos - they get a few cake pops a week from my failure pile :)

What I've been making lately ... (and eating ...)

Anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE to bake (NOT COOK) and LOVE pretty much anything sweet.  I am quite sure I could live on chocolate ~ maybe I should try that experiment soon ... hmmm ...

Well, anyway, I have stumbled upon my new found love the

CAKE POP!

I just can't stop creating these little nuggets of love on a stick - they are so darn cute and (not to mention) scrumptous! 

 Each bite is filled with moist, squishy cake, and a hard candy or chocolate coating ... they even come in seasonal cuteness:
